I do a little racing from time to time, and I am the Regional Executive for Oregon Region, SCCA.
I drive a 1959 Austin-Healey "Bugeye" Sprite in the Vintage Racing group. (Photo courtesy of Doug Berger at PhotoSport NorthWest) I also used to drive a 1979 Chevrolet Monza V-8 in the local NASCAR short track enduro stock car circuit until they changed the rules on me - then I built a 1976 Camaro for the same purpose.
I was working on a project - taking a 1970 MG Midget and turning it into a road-touring/rallying car for events such as La Carrera Classic and the California Melee - and for the usual amount of running around on Portland's 60 sunny days per year.
Now I'm working on an Alfa GTV - a much more exciting project. More soon on that...

I have been racing since 1988 and my team name is Fizzball Racing.
